It’s been a hard year, but together, we can do hard things. During this Hebrew month of Elul, we are the general manager of our internal market, taking stock of what aisles need to be restocked more often, what aisles have past due expiration dates, what needs to be completely reorganized, and what might even need to be discontinued. We take stock of the soul.  Once upon a time, my best friend Leenie and I both matched with the same person on @hinge (of all the people in LA! We didn’t even live near each other!). She insisted neither of us go out with them so that it wouldn’t come between us. I bowed out, insisting she go on the date. Two days later, they were both at my home together, already falling in love.
